Save Point : Deep Water (pencil)

In this latest drawing from the Save Point / BomberGrrl universe thing ive been doing we have the Warmth girls - Erin, Taisiya and May (from left to right) grousing near their plane - a seaplane bomber called Deep Water (roughly based on planes like the Heinkel HE-115).  This is actually one of the largest and most complex drawings i've done so far - it's on 14" x 17" Canson XL Mixed Media paper and took at least six scans to assemble a scan to post here   This actually turned into a rather important development sketch for the warmth characters - something i've been struggling with for a long time is the fact that there is a bit more edge to them than there is in the Megatokyo girls (it has to do with the specifics of the story, sorry, cant tell you, spoilers) but something came alive in this one that i think is important. We'll see.
